Our reverence for God is premised on honoring Him with the sacrifice of our lips - our thanksgiving. This is important and weighty to the Lord according to His will for man: "But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God." Psalms 50:23
Let us think about all God is and has been rather than what we expect to receive from Him. That you are still alive is to be hopeful. A thoughtful heart is a thankful heart. He deserves all our adoration.
